Amy Rainey
A Chicago native and graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, Amy Rainey is a writer, editor and Web producer. Amy is currently attending the Master of Communication in Digital Media program at the University of Washington.
Amy worked for The Charlotte Observer for two years as a staff writer and Web producer and has interned at Chicago magazine, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Chicago Reporter, Sun-Times News Group and Investigative Reporters and Editors. She has also written for Charlotte Magazine and The Associated Press and worked for Yelp.com.
Amy has written about a wide range of topics, from education to nightlife. She possesses a variety of reporting experience, including covering breaking news for the Web, completing investigative projects and writing in-depth features. Amy has produced audio slideshows, interactive maps and photo galleries, in addition to managing Web sites and Facebook pages.

Aaron Ritchey
Aaron spent nearly three years at The News Tribune in Tacoma, Wash. as a newsroom programmer. He was instrumental in developing and launching numerous innovative digital projects, including consumer-facing online applications and internal software development that significantly increased the newsroom’s efficiency.
Aaron graduated from the University of Washington-Tacoma with a degree in computer science.
